Thanks for visiting my website.
My name is Raida Disbrow and I have been making creative things since I was a little girl. When I was a child I sewed little dresses for my barbies from leftover material from my grandmothers fabric scraps. I love to bake and spent years making custom character cakes and wedding cakes. I even made gum paste flowers and bouques. In college I studied Interior Design and loved it. It gave me a great avenue to express my creative side. I have also taken acrylic and watercolor painting classes. I tend to draw on everything. No white walls in my house!
When I started making custom jewelry several years ago I discovered lampworking. I was facinated by the process. By the beauty of the pieces. Three years ago I took the plunge and started to make my own beads. With all the creative things I have done throughout my life, this is by far the most fulfilling. Glass is forever changing and mystifying.
In 2007 I took a class with the marvelous Kim Fields of (Northfire Designs) and had the time of my life. After taking her class I will never look at nature the same way.
I hope you enjoy my creations.
